Wireless USB Extender: Ensures a clutter free USB expansion
Low as well as high speed USB devices can now be placed up to a distance of 100 feet away from the computer using a Wireless USB Extender. It overcomes the distance limitations associated with cables. Since this product works on wireless technology, it eliminates clutter along with computer noise in the work area and saves desktop space. This extension device consists of a sender and a receiver unit. While the former is connected to the computer, the latter is connected to the USB peripherals. Would a wireless internet usb work with my macbook on a cruise?
I am going on a cruise soon but i love my computer and I am definitely bringing it! I was wondering if I bought a wireless USB taht had internet if it would work on the ship? thanks!
You wouldn't need that if you own a recently bought Macbook which has wireless capability built in. Those internet sticks that you get from your phone company work through the cell phone networks and may cost you extra for roaming charges. Ask your travel agent if wireless internet access is available on your cruise. I bet it is because most hotels have it because it is a selling feature that would get more customers. All you need is your Macbook.
