How can a fix a black cell phone screen?

I have an LG neon, i accidentally stepped on the screen and now its black but the phone still works and the keys light up.
Is there anyway i can fix this myself?

Yes. The screens are not too difficult to change and the spare part is quite inexpensive, for example see here: http://redo.me.uk/lgneon the replacement screen can be bought from a UK seller on ebay for £6.95 including postage (also includes tools for opening the case).
