The benefits of retail security officers

We hate to use guerrilla tactics, but when it comes to shoplifting, retail security guards are often the acclaimed heroes of theft. As a retail outlet or mall, it's not possible to watch or scrutinise the areas of your shop, especially with the hustle and bustle on a Saturday afternoon – and do you even hold the necessary requirements to do so?

Churchill's Retail Security officers can watch your store for you, manning doors and patrolling the areas to rid of unwanted crime. Theft is the most committed crime in the UK, and one that we are becoming increasingly bad at preventing, this is why Churchill can offer specially trained retail guards.

The term ‘generic' no longer applied to the role of a security guard, as industry sectors become increasingly aware of their potential risk zones, security is becoming more tailored to each specified liability.

However many changes in the market there may be, the need for a security presence is still the same.

Retail specific security guards

Specialised knowledge promotes serious advantage, the benefit of a retail specialised officer extends way beyond your usual uniformed guard stood pondering life at a metal gate.

Security personnel will be trained to the knowledge of your in-store security processes, which involves Churchill carrying out an assessment of your potential risk points. If you already acquire some security measures we can incorporate these into our services.

Security officers maintain a calm atmosphere in your shop, and present an inviting appeal to safety conscious shoppers – this leaves you to focus on your main priority, delivering top-rate customer service.

But keeping a look-out and a handy eye on shop goers isn't the only tricks housed by aretail security guard, involving knowing exactly what to do should a situation occur. This can be anything from a simple theft, to a malicious crime and even an unexpected accident.

But it's not just your stock that you should be protecting – it's your staff too. We only have to look to the news to see stories of assaulted shop assistants. Sometimes, the customer isn't right – and should anything turn into assault our guards are on hand to assist in ensuring your safety.

Churchill retail security officers can also;

  • Install and maintain your CCTV.
  • Maintain and care for your alarm systems, and be the first to the scene at an after-hours alert.
  • Control access of staff and distributors
  • Provide safe key holding

Expand range of wireless?? have belkin N1 router and bought the belkin n1 extender and no luck, any suggestio?

I have a belkin n1 wireless router, I have it downstairs in the office, and I use my laptop most.
My house is a two story solid brick house and I get very poor signal upstairs....my router is placed really high...
I bought a Belkin N1 USB range extender, and it worked poorly... any other suggestions??
Thanks for the suggestions. Indeed my house´s construction is 100% made out of brick, outside and inside.
Ok. I have tried repositining the wireless, with no luck. I changed it to 3 different places within the same room. Unfortunately I cannot move it upstairs because the high speed conection runs only to the studio downstairs!! Can you recommend which expander would be best to buy, that is compatible with the belkin N1?? My cordless phones are the new panasonics 6.0, I don´t know if they would also interfere?thanks again!

When you say solid brick. does that include the inside? The things that will block a wireless signal are appliances, mirrors, pipes in walls, ductwork and stone walls. There is a chance you are getting interference from neighbors and that will degrade your signal.
Cordless phones operating on 2.4 will also cause problems if the base station is near the router. Try going to channel 11. You can buy booster antennas for the router that will give a decent increase.
