Free software to cancel Microphone echo?

Is there any software that will reduce or cancel any Echo or noise that my microphone might pick up?

In a word - no.
That's why professional recordings are done in a soundproof room.
Echoes and noise can be masked by other audio added to the mix but there is no substitute for a "clean" initial recording.
Less echo or noise will be recorded the closer the mic is to the source.
